Baklava

If you have ever wanted to try something new, how about baklava. The name "baklava" comes from Turkey. This pastry is made from sheets of dough, honey, nuts, and butter. It is a lot of work, but it's well worth the effort. First, roll out part of the pastry dough. Cover it with a mixture of butter and nuts. Do this again and again. Cut little x's on the top. Drizzle it with honey. Bake it and let it stand overnight. It is usually made for special days, but there is no need to wait. You can make it anytime.
