Unit 5 More Single-Cell Punctuation

You have already learned ending punctuation marks (period, question mark, and exclamation point).

The following single cell punctuation signs are used just as they are used in print and follow the print spacing.

Comma (,)
Apostrophe (')
Opening Quotation Marks (")
Closing Quotation Marks (")
Semicolon (;)
Colon (:)
Hyphen (-)
Ellipsis (3 periods) ⠲⠲⠲

Note: The opening quotation mark looks the same as the question mark. The difference is that the opening quotation mark never appears at the end of a word and the question mark never appears at the beginning of a word.
