Quiet and Comfy
I've been around for an eternity. In my younger years, I'd watch Percy drift to sleep as a child. I was there when his wife taught his daughter how to crochet. All three of Percy's nephews used to sit on me at one time, but they've since outgrown me. I've been reupholstered twice to mend the mundane damage of everyday life. I'm lucky no one has decided I'm too worn out and tried to put me on the curb. It's rare that someone like me lasts this many years. Now, I reside in Lucy's house nestled quietly in the corner of her living room and I rock her grandchildren to sleep, just as I used to rock Percy.
