The Field Trip
Carlos was happy. He liked field trips. He liked field trips a lot. The bus stopped. Class Four B climbed out. Carlos climbed out too. He was at a farm. There were pigs. There were cows. There were lots of pumpkins. It was a pumpkin farm.
Carlos wanted to find a pumpkin. He did not want to find a small pumpkin. He did not want to find a big pumpkin. He wanted to find the biggest pumpkin. Carlos looked under vines. The pumpkin was too small. He looked under leaves. The pumpkin was too small. Then Carlos found a huge pumpkin. It was bigger than him. He could not pick it up. But his Dad could. Carlos was happy.
